Sancaklar Mosque covers 1050 m2 as total built up area while the main structure takes 700 square meters. The basic design of mosque is cave like structure from inside while the outer side is designed as encircling grey wide shallow steps. It lied over a prairie landscape which became a park after the completion. Whole structure is surrounded by high walls which separate the hustle and bustle of city life from calm and serene environment of mosque. As far as the design of Sancaklar is concerned, the creativity has more invested in outer side as compared to indoor. The indoor contains a cave like huge prayer hall which allows the one and god to spend some time alone in peace. The prayer hall contains entryway, shoe-storage room and washroom arranged at the edge. The floors and ceiling of prayer hall are arranged in rows which are made of concrete. There is a set of light system below the steps and fissure. The outer side consists of tall minaret, park, surrounding high walls and wide steps which gradually submerged down in the building. The main material used in construction was concrete and natural stones. The topographical feature of Sancaklar Mosque makes it a separate world in itself.
